Bay area bag makers ILE teamed up with AFAIC on a lightweight collection of riding staples…
ILE just announced the second collaboration featuring Oakland-based artist Shogun Shido. This line of bags features hand-painted X50 XPAC, which started out as one continuous roll of fabric before being laser cut into panels for each product. The panels were placed at random while maintaining the orientation of the original painting, with drips and splatters cascading down the bags. Each piece is one of a kind, and includes a sewn-in artist label signed by Shido.

A study in materials, textures, and composition, ILE’s Blackout Patchwork collection features tonal renditions of ILE shop favorites. The brand’s latest bag is a Laptop Bag…
Inside Line Equipment’s bags are some of our favorite backpacks and accessory pouches on the market. Being a small manufacturer from the Bay Area, they’re able to make small batches of bags with special materials. The latest being UX10 XPAC…

Inside Line Equipment and The Radavist go way, way back. John helped Eric from ILE design the brand’s first camera pack back in 2011, which has gone through many iterations since. He’s also put the Photo Mini Bag through the wringer, which remains one of his favorite pieces of US-made gear. ILE makes solid bags for on and off-the-bike outings, all sewn in the Bay Area.
Today we’re sharing something a little different. Earlier this year, ILE announced the Travel Pack. It’s a bag designed to be the perfect size for a weekend+ trip, to fit in an overhead bin on an airplane or train, and has a lot of smart features. John recently took it overseas and has some thoughts to share, so read on for his full review.

Inside Line Equipment took their standard saddle bag and updated it for mountain bikes and dropper posts. These bags are just big enough to carry a MTB tube, tools, and other necessities. They feature an elastic zip cord that secures the bag as well. Available in black, black multicam, and alpine multicam, these bags are made in California and in stock now at ILE.
My favorite small camera bag just got better. Inside Line Equipment updated the Photo Bag Mini with a new interior fabric, better foam and a simple, one-piece insert design. The new and improved Photo Bag mini is also available in an array of custom material options, along with some stock fabric choices. This bag will fit mirrorless systems easily, as well as a DSLR with a small telephoto zoom lens like the 5D and a 24-70. I’ve used mine thoroughly for almost five years and love it. They retail for $120, are sewn in California with stock available now at Inside Line Equipment.
Everything is better with Multicam! Including these new Inside Line Equipment Seat Bags. Now available in black, white and standard (tandard as I like to call it). Made in the Bay Area and only $30. In stock now at ILE.
ILE’s popular Default backpack is now available in durable, black XPAC sailcloth with a clean Coyote brown trim. All of ILE’s bags are made in the Bay Area using the highest standards of construction. Check out more at ILE.
ILE new custom bag option just launched and they’re doing things a bit differently. You can print out a blank bag linesheet and color it in, then scan it in and email it, or simply create your color palette in photoshop. Head over to ILE for more information.
Inside Line Equipment’s saddle bags now come in ultralight XPac material and have a zipper for your credit card, bus pass, train pass and a note. See more at ILE.
